I Can’t Return an eBook or Audiobook
eBooks and Audiobooks, including assigned titles, can be returned before their due date from the Loans area. Decodable and Levelled Readers do not use loans, so returning does not apply to them.
Return a normal loan
- Open Loans.
- Find the eBook or Audiobook you want to return.
- Select Return.
The title was assigned to you
Students can return assigned eBooks and Audiobooks from My Loans using the normal return option.
Assigned Decodable and Levelled Readers work differently. They are always available and do not need to be borrowed or returned. When one is assigned, other Decodable and Levelled Readers appear greyed out, but you can still open and read them.
The Return option is missing
If the title is not an assigned book but the Return option does not appear:
- Confirm that your device has an internet connection.
- Check that the title still appears in Loans.
- If using the app, check your app store for an ePlatform update.
- Restart the app or browser.
- Sign out of ePlatform and sign in again.
- Open Loans and check the title again.
Automatic returns
You do not need to return a title to prevent it from becoming overdue. When the loan period expires, the title is returned to the library automatically.
Your school or library controls the loan period applied to its titles.
Need help?
Ask your teacher or librarian if the title is not assigned but still cannot be returned.
Library staff can email support@eplatform.co and include:
- the library name;
- the affected title and ISBN;
- the patron account;
- whether the title was assigned; and
- the Return option or error message displayed.
