Finding and Adding Your School or Library in the App

After installing the ePlatform app, you need to add your school or library. This connects the app to the correct ePlatform library and opens its sign-in page.

Find your school or library by name

  1. Open the ePlatform app.
  2. Select Add New Library.

  1. Enter the name of your school or library in the search box.
  2. Review the matching schools and libraries displayed in the search results.
  3. Select the correct school or library.

Searching for a school or library by name in the ePlatform app

The app will add the selected school or library and open its sign-in page.

Tips for searching

ePlatform includes many schools and libraries. If the correct result does not appear immediately:

  • Check that the school or library name is spelled correctly.
  • Try searching for a shorter version of its name.
  • Search using the most distinctive word in the school or library name.
  • Try another variation of the name if your first search does not find it.

Add another school or library

If you have already added a library, you can add another one from the app's Home screen.

  1. Open the ePlatform app.
  2. From the Home screen, select Add New Library.
  3. Search for the school or library by name.
  4. Select the correct school or library from the results.

Sign in after adding your library

After selecting your school or library, you will be taken to its sign-in page.

Sign in using the method provided by your school or library. Depending on how your library is configured, this may be:

  • a username and password; or
  • your school's single sign-on service.

If you are unsure which sign-in method to use, ask your teacher, librarian, or school administrator.

If you cannot find your library

If your school or library does not appear in the search results:

  • try the search tips above;
  • confirm the correct library name with your school or library;
  • ask whether your school or library has provided an ePlatform setup code or QR code.
