How the phonetic progression works
SuperLit Decodable Readers are organised into ten levels across Fiction and Non-Fiction.
Each level introduces a controlled set of letter-sound relationships. Books at that level use the phonetic sounds students have already learned while introducing the sounds assigned to that stage.
The ten levels follow a universal phonetic progression. The regional Scope and Sequence documents show how that progression connects with each country’s curriculum.
Curriculum alignment
ePlatform Decodable Readers are mapped against national standards in:
- Australia;
- New Zealand; and
- the United Kingdom.
Each regional document outlines which graphemes and phonemes are introduced at each stage of the collection.
