A Site Notice allows library administrators to display custom announcements, reminders, or operational updates directly on the library platform and within the ePlatform mobile app.
Common Use Cases
Holiday / Closure Announcements: Notify patrons of upcoming holiday hours, maintenance windows, or end-of-term library closures.
Featured Collections & Events: Highlight special reading programs (e.g., Summer Reading Challenge, Book Week) or newly added eResource collections.
Important Guidelines: Share quick reminders about borrowing limits, renewal policies.
Authentication / Login Alerts: Inform users of planned SSO updates or system maintenance that might affect login access.
How to Set Up or Update a Site Notice
Step 1: Navigate to the Site Notice Area
Log in to your ePlatform administration account.
Select Admin from the top menu bar.
Under the Customise section in the left-hand navigation menu, click Site Notice.
Step 2: Draft Your Announcement
Title: Enter a brief header for your notice (e.g., Holiday Opening Hours or Welcome Back!).

Bottom: Displays the full notice at the bottom of the sidebar in Browse view and at the bottom of the Library tab in the ePlatform App.
Step 4: Save Changes
Review your announcement in the Live Preview pane.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to publish your update immediately.
