The quickest and easiest way to borrow and read eBooks is through the ePlatform app. Library users and school students can read their favourite books at any time (even offline) on their iPad, Android phone, Windows tablet or other tablet/mobile device – without downloading any additional software.

Kindle Fire HD/HDX
We are currently working with Amazon to get the ePlatform app available on the Amazon Store. In the meantime, you can manually install the apk on your Kindle:
- Enable apps from unknown source: "How to Sideload Apps onto Your Kindle Fire"
- Download the ePlatform APK file: eplatform-amazon-release-v1.24.apk (2.1 MB)
- Locate the downloaded file and tap to install
Note that the standard Kindle (non-"Fire" version) does not currently support library eBook formats.
Desktop/Laptop (PC or Mac)
Any modern web browser can be used (Chrome, Safari, IE10+, Firefox) to read titles directly on your desktop or laptop machine. Alternatively, download Adobe Digital Editions and create an Adobe ID. See our setup guide for further information.
